Purpose
Curious about what it’s like to work at 7IM? We are
offering a one‑week work experience programme from 29 June – 3 July 2026.
This placement is designed to give university students an authentic insight
into our culture, the work we do, and the opportunities within the Investment
Management industry.
Throughout the week, you’ll develop your understanding of
working in a professional environment and gain exposure to the teams, roles,
and skills that shape our business. Our aim is to broaden your industry
knowledge, inspire future career ambitions, and support your professional
development.
Structure of Programme
During the work experience programme week, you will have the
opportunity to:
- Attend
classroom-based sessions to gain an insight into the different departments
within the firm and how they collaborate in order to succeed together.
- Hear
first-hand from colleagues within the firm about how they started out in
the industry and the steps taken to progress in their careers.
- Spend
time with teams in the business, gaining first-hand experience in role specific
work, with the opportunity to rotate across 3 - 4 departments of your
choice.
- Work
collaboratively with other work experience peers to prepare and deliver a
presentation to colleagues within 7IM.
- Build your network and connect with key colleagues across the firm.
Entry Requirements
This work experience programme is aimed at University
students who have completed 1st year and onwards.
